Sarah Leen Café is a warm, family-run spot nestled on Chippenham Road in London’s W9 area, serving as a calm but lively neighborhood café with a Middle Eastern touch. The atmosphere balances a friendly buzz with enough quiet corners to settle in with a book or catch up on some work. Its approachable vibe makes it a regular stop for locals seeking both a casual coffee break and a wholesome breakfast or lunch.

Coffee here is crafted with care, earning its reputation as a solid neighborhood hangout. Early mornings often see a steady flow of regulars who come for small cappuccinos and healthy juices like the fresh carrot and lemon variety. Brunches are relaxed affairs, with the menu emphasizing fresh, vibrant salads and well-prepared toasted options — smashed avocado with chili flakes on sourdough is a standout, alongside salmon and poached eggs served on English muffins. There’s also a notable nod to wholesome homemade treats, such as gluten-free chocolate orange almond cake, that draw in visitors looking for a lighter indulgence.

The café’s food leans towards fresh, nutritious fare with a clear Middle Eastern influence, evident in offerings like falafel wraps and chickpea-based salad boxes. These are popular choices for those after healthy, flavourful meals that don’t feel rushed or overly processed. The homemade granola in the yoghurt parfait and the nutty quinoa salad highlight the kitchen’s attention to wholesome ingredients.

Service here feels personal and kind, with the family behind the counter often engaging in quick chats that add to the place’s local charm. It’s a spot where the staff remember your usual order, making repeat visits feel comfortable without being intrusive.

The best time to visit tends to be mid-morning or early afternoon, when the café fills with a mix of people: solo diners enjoying a quiet breakfast, friends catching up over healthy salads, or parents with kids grabbing a quick but satisfying snack. Prices are reasonable compared to other London coffee shops, making it an easy choice for everyday visits rather than special occasions.

In essence, Sarah Leen Café suits anyone looking for a laid-back, quality-focused café experience—locals who appreciate a meaningful breakfast or lunch without fuss, paired with carefully brewed coffee and fresh juices. Its blend of warm hospitality and genuinely tasty, health-conscious food helps it stand out as a thoughtfully run spot in a busy London neighborhood.

Great coffee. Very tasty and quality food. I tried the salad box and it was amazing. My son had avocado on toast and brownie and he loved it. You can easily tell that it is also fresh. Staff is very kind. The price is affordable compared to some other coffee shops in the restaurant. Give it a try. I am sure you will love it.

We popped in and had a mix of the salad they offer and it was genuinely one of the best and healthiest food I ever had, super tasty and full of flavours. Sarah was very lovely. The desserts were very nice as well, the shortbread was very tasty. When we are in London we will definitely come back. Thank you

This is a friendly family run cafe, with a bit of a Lebanese / Middle Eastern focus. Highlights are definitely the falafel wraps, and the salad boxes (with tasty chickpea stew, hummus and lots more). The service is friendly and kind, and it's always nice to have a little chat with the family who run it. :)

Had my breakfast here this morning and it was perfect. I especially loved the falafels (fresh, warm, crispy on the outside and meltingly soft on the inside), the halloumi and the very refreshing 'greens' juice which woke me up and gave me the kick I needed for the day. The atmosphere in the cafe is warm and lively, but calm enough for me to enjoy my book alone, and service flawless.

Lovely atmosphere with really friendly staff. The service was excellent and they are genuinely nice to people. A wide range of food including salad, mezes and cakes! Very generous portions too. Would love to come back if I’m in the area.
